sorry for the title..can't think up a better name.

Pain is back *groan* and I can't seem to draw anything decent DP-related...and can't update the manifesto thing until after voting is over. So I've been playing around with styles and such.

There's this picture that I've had in my head for a while, it's Chess Piece related. This is just a starting sketch for it (I'm working on the background and other junk too. The idea is an image of Phantom underneath crystal lake where he was entombed (or sealed) for a bit. So that's why parts of his outfit are floating.

Also trying to work on getting my faces and details more...formalized and less cartoony? I don't know. :> I'm happy the expression on his face and his hair...hand is still giving me problems though.

I keep going back and forth if I want to add blood details to his face & clothing or not. Granted...yes...it probably WOULD wash off in the water...but it might also look pretty cool. O.o;;

And I just now realized, I used this almost exact pose with battle damage danny. It's technically GOING to be full body...but that annoys me. I drew a similar pose without even realizing it.
