Andrew Garfield, staring intently, courtesy of me.I started this about 6 months ago and only got around to finishing it yesterday. Trying to continue with this drawing after so long made me realize how much more detailed my style has become since July last year.

Thanks for sharing this deviation. I started portrait sketching a few months ago, its harder than it seems, finding shading a bit difficult, but I know i'll get there. The detail is superb in this picture.

Thank you! Shading is definitely tricky. One thing I use is a tissue for big areas like the background or cheeks. It makes the shading much more even.
