Description
The best thing about homemade bread is it costs about 10 cents to make, the downside is that even a half recipe makes a big loaf which I cannot eat before it goes stale (in about 36 hours).It is then hard at a rock and only useful as a weapon or a toy.

That would fit perfectly into one of those fairy tales where birds fly out of a pir or a loaf of bread, though they'd have to be pretty tiny.
