A light absorbing knife tears stillness of the time.
One of your best.

That explains where the source of a powerful image comes from.

great job, and fantastic concept. the knife looks so ominous, especially in the light of the window

In his damnation he seems to be smaller; as though whatever state he is in is too much to bear. The emotions welled up here seem to convey a sense of utter hopelessness, but in his eye he seems to be already formulating a plot of how to redeem himself. That's just what I see in the picture; it could mean something entirely different. The figure here seems to be weak and small for now, threatened by the knife ready to come down at any moment, but he at the same time seems to posess himself; to have a degree of self control and endurance to bring him through the morning to noon. Splendid...another masterpiece to add to your list Miss lauren.

I love the feel of the sunlight in this, almost like it's a blast of cold rather than the usual warm glow. It makes the whole thing seem so remote and fading away from reality. I don't know if that was your intention or not but it's good either way.

I do not know if I mean it or not either but it happens fairly often- that a cold light is what comes in.
