Tarot! I knew that upside down pose of the legs... The spider gives me the creeps when I see it from the corner of my eye, but when I look at it straight it seems like a cute and fluffy toy. The drawback of this photo is that fullview is too big to take it in as a whole, and smallview is too small to see details. I suppose I'd need to get a large format print to fully appreciate this one.
Strange play you're staging on the bottom, two tall guardians watching over over a king and his courtiers..... or maybe the face on the throne is just placeholder for the Fool above?

Yes, and that's part of your unique appeal. Because there are strange relations arising from all those different things to look at.
With this photo I felt like I couldn't get top and bottom to connect. An artifact of the disparate fullview/smallview option, because there's no analogous transition between getting the big picture and zooming in to the details.

I like his early work, not so much the later stuff. I don't see the similarities in my work that other people seem to see.

I don't care for his more recent work either...it is this insidious quality, that of such dark subject with the inability to restrain oneself from further investigation, despite the horrors that may be revealed, that I find between both of your works...
