...marvelous, simply marvelous...does the shard of mirror seen around by us belong to that mirror?

a cousin, I had a much larger piece of mirror that fell and became many-this was the largest piece from that fall.

...I like the repetition of triangles; between the two of you/s and Mr. Curtainface; the book pile and spool; the pointed bit of the mirror and the forms of its contents...

so you just used your custom camera modes to capture that?? bec/ thats insaine. howd you do it?

lauren-rabbit In reply to wkncrocks [2007-02-16 02:06:51 +0000 UTC]

easy pieces. 4x5 view camera on tripod, mirror and books on table, chair in front of 4x5 under lens facing table, mirror on chair angled to reflect where I will be into mirror on table. I slip behind table, kneel on floor, place face on books.
Cable release and shoot.
Easier & faster than photoshop, plus cooler because the angle of the image in the mirror is not the same as the subject.
Everything is a little bit off and I never really had control. Faith and film.
Cut & paste just doesn't cut it.
I love reality!
