Finally I have finished my submission for the artnouveau 's Alphons Mucha challenge.
It has been a hard path, not enough time and a totally a pain to get in the picture the glittering of the
golden watercolours (scanner couldn't). But here it is. Not my best illustration but i love the colour.
I wish next attempt wil be wonderful and i will take the right decision on the watercolour paper (size)
and embellishment. Any wayi hop you enjoy it.

Lovely integration of Art Nouveau and Tolkien's world. It fits really well together. Also I like how bright and vivid the picture looks, appropriate for the Queen of Stars.
Incidentally I came across this picture just when I finished my own Mucha-inspired piece (though not Middle-earth), so I am in Art Nouveau mood myself and I highly appreciate this.

thanks so much for the kind words! 2017 was a year that made me embrace the wonderful Art Nouveau. I thought it was a good idea to mix it with my passion for Tolkien's lore

Haha, that's great, I have been a fan of Tolkien's world for a long time, while I fell in love with the beauty of Art Nouveau recently, too. In my latest latest piece I tried to make a sort of a tribute to Art Nouveau and Alphonse Mucha in my own way (you can check out Message in a Bottle if you wish). But this combination is really inspirational for me, so I would love to try something like that too.
