Thank you so much ^^

I started this after an exceptionally terrible day getting lost in my car trying to get back to My husbands roomates house a few days after I had moved down to North Carolina from Arkansas. I kid you not, I got married one day, (long distance relationship, had to fly him down to AR where I was) and we packed up the Uhaul and started back toward NC 2 days later. My grandma died (after being in the hospital for the entire last year I was home) not even 24 hours after I left - so me and my mom pretty much both lost our moms on the same day (the obvious difference being hers was permanent and mine was temporary) It was all just too much change and too many huge, stressful life events all at once; and that day that I was lost and alone, driving around in some strange place trying to get back to that house and not knowing what to do was just....too much...lol
I suppose I'm just saying all this so that whoever comes to this can see this...
I want people to know that the woman in the box is my grandmother, and my mother in her belly, and me in hers. I don't think anyone knows that, and I want them to know...
Thank you so much for your comment

I normally have problems getting enough contrast in there, but this one turned out alright I think..
Thanks! ^^

You'd be sitting for a while! XD I felt bad, I started it when me and Erik were living with his room mate and had to put it on pause for our move, there was like, a month long gap between start and finish. I hate to do that because sometimes you can almost tell "Okay, they did this...and thennnn...they did this.." but I felt I needed to finish this one..
My grandma died not even 24 hours after I left my family to move away. I guess this is my homage to that feeling...that was a really odd time

So much incredible feeling in all of your work. I can't help but think and wonder every time you pose a riddle in your art. Shadows, light, use of space, and the gritty feel of the water color work together to make a spectacular piece of art. I always find something intriguing in all of your work from your first drawing to you newest.

WOW, this is really something to look at. I love how you used all the space of your canvas. I love the composition and concept--nicely done

Thank you so much! Composition is definitely one of the toughest things to deal with sometimes, probably the biggest reason things don't work out...you may have great ideas, but sometimes they just don't all flow together quite right..x.x
Thanks for the fave as well, I really appreciate it ^^
