Looking at this closely kinda makes me dizzy xD You got the effect of looking up at a really tall building down well^^ I think this image would work nicely printed in a huge format.

Love the photo, to be honest initially I thought I was looking across and not up. This also reminds me why I hate the International style of buildings, with Art Deco at least you could probably tell what building it was by its distinctive features, but with International, you could be looking at a building anywhere in the world.

I purposely made the the opening to the sky in the shape of a door-like rectangle. I like to disorient people I understand why people would think the international style is boring, personally I love it and it's a nice contrast with the old city I live in that dates back to 800 AD

How dos you do that? The perspective is breath talking.

This is, I think, a well-balanced perspective study. It reminds me of something, I don't know quite what.

Actually the perspective in this piece is incorrect. What I mean by that is that you would never be able to witness this composition in real life. Even though it was a mistake at first I kept it because I think that is what makes this piece interesting

Got it. The 'balance' I had in mind was aesthetic - a 'composition' thing, not perspective.

Thanks for the insight. Now I know why my eyes - or maybe visual cortex - gave a sort of 'what the hey?!' when I saw it.

And indeed: this looks good.
