Its a very gorgeous shot. Very sensual and seductive. The corset is brilliant also; great color scheme. If I had to find something that I wasn't sure about it might be that your head is tilted to much? Don't mind the crop to much; keep the attention up high. Just trying to be constructive. Thanks!

your poses are so graceful, and your costume always impeccable...Lending itself to the type of photography, whether it be Black and White or color, my only complaint is that your beautiful self is always cut off abruptly, as in this photograph....you are beautiful, gorgeous even and then "Chop" at the knees...and it takes one away from the overall beauty.
Cropping is fine, when it has purpose, so i hope you don't hate me now. big fan of your work.

I might have preferred it cropped a little higher.... Generally, I dislike knee level crops, but this one doesn't bother me for some reason. If it was full length, I think some of the detail in the costume, face, and hair would be lost.
Of course I don't hate you, I appreciate constructive opinions and critiques. What do you think makes cropping have a purpose?

I have to agree with your point...there is some wonderful detail in the shot...It looks like I was focusing more on the movement of the pose, and where you cut it off at the knee the movement stops abruptly...were it cropped up little higher like you suggested it would most definitely give the rest of the figure more importance but it would have given the direction of the shot more purpose
By cutting it at just below the knee the movement drastically changes, it is no longer straight down, it's at a cross roads as it were...one leg pointing the movement to the right, the other moving it straight down...causing me to want to see more of the image.
I think I probably overanalyzed it...but that was my reasoning somewhat. To me the purpose of cropping, and when to use it is for directing the viewers eye in the direction you dictate. If you want one to focus on your beautiful outfit for instance then you would do exactly what you suggested above. So yeah, just me overanalyzing the piece. Your work and the work your photographers produce for you is incredible. Which is why time and again I love seeing your latest creations. Anyways, hope you are having an incredible weekend.
