... Vampires or Sarafan?It's a really hard thing to explain, expecially to a baby girl raised by an Ancient Vampire, a child whom met for the first time the victims of the Circle's bloody crusade...
Sarah was playing around Janos's aerie as always, while her master was engaged in a conversation with Vorador, and accidentally saw a vampire impalation done by the Sarafan's army... not a nice show for a child.
Few minutes after, Janos and Vorador find the kid totally shocked and scared: if Vampires must kill humans to feed themselves, endure the Hylden's curse and protect the Pillars, then why humans have to be so cruel if they can't recieve any benefit by a dead vampire?
This quick pencil sketch come to my mind when my sister asking some explanations about little Sarah's point of view:
If she lives with Janos, always staying with him and sometimes with other vampires like Vorador, she would probably see the vampires as the "Good but Vindictive Guys" and humans as "Bad Coward Guys";
expecially after the first time she sees lots of vampires impaled by the Sarafan... for her they are the real demons, monsters in human disguise...
That's why she wants so much to become a vampire when she will come in the age.

when it comes to vampire vs. sarafan, the sarafan are the monsters "humans fear what the dont understand, and despise what they fear"-janos audron from that qoute though, you realize that they arnt monsters either, merely ignorant. however when it comes to hylden vs vampires the vampires were the monsters. they tried to force there religion upon the hylden, but even they wernt completely wrong, as they only did what there god told them to.

You're absolutely right... I just wanted to play an unusual, "dissociated" character: normally for a human child, vampires are the bad guys, i wanted to create the opposite situation with a young human with her life have been destroyed by humans but rescued by vampires.. with all the contraddictions and the psychological problems that may come after; actually Sarah is a human, she's proud of it and even if she despise Sarafan army for that she saw they do, she don't hate humanity itself... actually she may be the only human left who know that vampires and humans alike both deserve to live in Nosgoth, 'cause they all are needed by the balance of their world...

Oddio, la scena di per sé non è esattamente delle migliori per Sarah, però mi fa tanta tenerezza come Janos la stringe in braccio e tenta di calmarla, protettivo proprio come un tenerissimo papà çwç Ha ragione Vorador ad incazzarsi a bestia con quei pezzenti -A-#

eh Sarah non sta mai ferma un'attimo e adora avventurarsi da sola in giro per Nosgoth, costringendo Janos a mandare Vorador a riprenderla.. stavolta perΓ² si Γ¨ avventurata troppo vicino alla zona di caccia dei Sarafan e malauguratamente si Γ¨ imbattuta nelle loro ultime vittime.. anhce se erano umani i suoi stessi genitori sono stati giustiziati dai Sarafa come traditori, poichΓ© collaboravano pacificamente con Janos e si sono rifiutati di svelare l'accesso alla sua dimora sulle montagne...

Gh-sì, avevo letto nelle descrizioni di Sarah çAç Poveretta, e ci credo che odi a morte i Sarafan D: ... al di là del fatto che quelli non stanno simpatici a nessuno a prescindere, LOL.

eh si poveraccio XD PerΓ² Janos non si Γ¨ mai sentito vivo come quando si Γ¨ preso cura di lei; per un immortale 5, 10 o 20 anni non sono niente, ma nel crescere un bambino umano ogni giorno avviene una novitΓ e non ci si puΓ² rilassare un solo istante, facendolo vivere giorno per giorno in un certo senso Γ¨ come se Saretta gi stesse allungando la vita XD

Eh, immagino, anche se per ogni giorno di vera vita che Sarah gli regala, almeno un anno glielo fa perdere ogni volta che sparisce misteriosamente xD Specie se davvero ha passato secoli solo come un cane, nel suo rifugio, un po' di vita di certo non gli fa male :') Anche se Sarah, di pepe nella sua vita, forse ne mette pure troppo nei primi anni xD Mi piacerebbe vedere ancora scene tra lei bimba e Janos çwç

And Janos sometimes really needs an Aulin, taking care of Sarah can be very complicated, expecially when she cry in the night for nightmares about impaled vampires or visions from the Spectral Realm...
You know that as Dimension Guardian she can see the Underworld.. is not a nice thing to waking up in the night for a glass of water and see the lovely face of a Sluagh near your bed!!!
