Recently two 5th generation Pokemon have been revealed; Zorua and Zoroark. Hearing that there is going to be another generation makes me feel tired though, I hope this will be the last one. XDThis one is Zorua, Zoroark's pre-evo. I'm not sure if I like Zoroark much but I absolutely love Zorua. >w<

Anyway yeah it would be cool if they did a timeskip but they probably won't since the anime doesn't have a solid plot and plus mostly kids watch it. Although that being said I still watch it now and again. XDD

I'm getting tired of all the generations too. When it was just the first generation, I used to be able to name all the Pokemon in order and now if I even attempted it my brain would probably break XD
I hope they make a remake of Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald. They're good games, but they're the only older game that hasn't been remade. I also hope they make another game like Colosseum and XD:GoD, but with a customisable trainer like in Battle Revolution.
Anyway, I'll stop blabbering on now XD

Yeah, I think the reason they keep making more is because there is younger generations that don't know of the classical Pokemon and games so they keep creating more to make money from the younger generations that will buy them. But for oldie players like myself its just going too far. D;
I don't think they will make remakes of Ruby/Sapphire since they were released on the GBA which you can transfer the pokemon on it to D/P/Pt so thats probably why. Plus they aren't really that old either.

Yeah, it irritates me too. Eventually it'll be like:
7 year old: "Hey, have you got a Chikapikaling?
Me: "A what now?"
(LoL, Chikapikaling XD I bet it'd be the offspring of a Chikorita -Pikachu cross and a Chingling XDD)
I know it's still newish, but it's the only game that isn't on the DS... It'll probably the Gen 5 re-make.
I can't play the old games now; the sprites look too weird now. And it's all completely 2-D... I tried to play Crystal earlier to see if I could beat it before HG/SS comes out, but all the Pokemon on my old file (minus my lv 68 Freligator) were only lv 15-20 DX I tried re-starting, but I couldn't be bothered XD

Oh yeah, Volkner hasn't been in the anime yet, has he? I hope they cover the bit where Flint tells you to go see him. That's my fave part in the game (for some reason...) I've just re-started watching the anime from the Wallace Cup.
I hope the anime covers HeartGold/SoulSilver. It'd be so much better if the anime was based on Gold instead of Ash... XD Though Crystal would get a bit irritating (You'll know what I mean if you've seen 'The Legend of Thunder!' mini film thing).
