oops, sorry i've been away from dA. i used plastic wrap and tin foil. just ball it up and smoosh it onto the rolled out clay before you use it

By putting Varathane on it, would it mean that even after a few months, it wont start to get sticky, or lint or grime would get stuck to it and make it dirty looking? It'll still be nice and exactly the way it is the day you glazed it?

I cut it before curing, when it was still completely soft. I'll do a tutorial sometime

oh ok just that when i cut my stuff sometimes it warps it, or do you rest it overnight, ive heard of people doing that

i'm impatient, so i let it warp and then just add some more rice in the holes left over. i use premo, so it's not too soft anyway.

ive never used premo, so its harder than fimo or sculpey is it?

i've never used fimo. premo is firmer than super sculpey and sculpey III, though kato is harder than premo

store unused clay in plastic wrap in a covered box. also, work on a clean surface and cover your work with plastic wrap or foil if you need to leave. hope that helps

do you roll up the grains of rice and then cut the sushi, or do you just flatten them?
