EDIT: Why is the bird so pixelated? Aaaah, I'll fix it later, I guess, but I don't really know how.

I know that I am not going to win or anything, but I decided to give it a try anyway.

I hope this is okay! I have to fix a lot of stuff later, though, so bear with me, I might even add more details. I also hope I'm not snatching the theme away from any other contestant! I read that it was okay to share a theme, still, I'd feel kind of bad.

I hope this actually qualifies, but I doubt that I will be kicked out, since I read all the rules. EDIT: No, I actually forgot to post a journal... This is awkward. Hahaha.

Title of piece: Dream of Freedom
My theme: Freedom
This took a lot of effort, even if it doesn't look that way. It isn't really amazing, but I hope I got the message across! This is based on an old idea of mine, that idea was a story about a girl who was abused by her foster parents. She always craved to be in another place, that's where she started imagining that she was a bird and that she could just fly away. I know it's cliché, but I dreamt of this picture when I took a nap once. So the story is based on the picture.
