Here is a quick piece of my character Gina Nackiomiβ’ within one of the chambers of study within a temple. This one is filled with giant moths. Gina is a warrior monk girl and master of the Naginata.Thanks for looking!

Thanks man! With this digital tool it was either butterflies or moths. I think moths would be more appropriate for training with the use of light as a weapon in training. Though, smashing butterflies would have been interesting.

Great pose, and an interesting concept. I'm wondering what purpose do the moths serve in her training?

Thanks! I was thinking with many flying insects, she would have to train with her defenses up as they flew around the room. Moths seemed easy and generally harmess. A chamber full of bees would have been more comical and certainly painful.

I think you may have gone a little overboard with the lighting... it kind of looks like she's on a stage. Maybe next time you could fade them a little.

Thanks so much! The three directional lighting is to be three openings in a dark chamber where the light enters and makes the moths fly. I should have shown the openings better so the viewer would know that.

I figured it was holes in the ceiling... but the light is so bright that it kind of makes me think of a spotlight.

True, I should have toned it down a little. No doubt I'll show Gina in another chamber before long and I'll see if I can illustrated the light a little better. Thanks again for you input!
