I'm so very pleased you like this piece. I loved how it turned out. It can be challenging to balancing the soft lines and feminine qualities of these ladies and give them the strength and skills they need to survive in such a hostile occupation. I always strive to have strong, dignified, intelligent (and beautiful) female characters. VFox is surely one of those how has all of those qualities and is one of my favorite creations.

My female characters are very important to me. I want to show a strong female image without reducing them to mindless sex objects. I pride myself on the fact most of my females are well clothed, strong, smart, resourceful, and beautiful. I have nothing against undressed ladies at all, but I think there is a time for that and a character shouldn't be defined by their state of undress.

Thank you! I like drawing VFox in the autumn colours....her colours stand out so well in my opinion. I drew this last month and wanted to share this before autumn was over. Most of the deciduous trees in my part of the world are way past peak colours, nearly bare.

We only get about a week of Autumn and then straight to winter.
