Description
While Lavender is recovering from being ill, her furry black companion 'Star' senses her owner's unwell. She waltzes into her room, jumps up on to her bed, sniffs around the mare, and lays down - making herself comfortable right next to the Pegasus mare. Lavender is shocked, Star had never done that before but enjoys every moment of it and Star ends up sleeping by her side for the rest of that afternoon!

After she has fully recovered, Lavender seeks out a visit with Fluttershy, Ponyville's own animal expert. She explains that cats - like most animals - can sense when their owners are unwell and will want to keep them company. It's their way of helping them to feel better.

This is an experience that I recently experienced myself with our neighbour's cat Peanut, she slept by my feet when I was unwell and recovering from a stomach bug. I will cherish that moment forever.
