Nice job. I don't have it, but I fear it(after I saw my mom having one when I was a little girl).

I have minor epilepsy. Always wary of flashing/flickering lights.

I can't say that I'm proud to have epilepsy but I certainly not ashamed of it.

Why having a medical condition makes you proud? I have RA and I'm not proud at all, in fact it sucks, you should be proud because you are strong against it, not because you have it.

you're right in a sense there is a proud feeling to it, maybe will be better "proud of defeating/living with epilepsy or something like that

(For future people reading this)
I think this is just showing that we're (I have it too) proud of what we can accomplish. I understand that if you have the super sucky terrible ones you're not proud, you have every right not to be. Just don't bash the stamp, some of us are proud, some aren't.
Mine are mild now, but when I was little I had absence seizures (Grandma seizures, as some call them.) I'd pass out and not remember a thing. I was on a medication for a year which got rid of them, but it changed my personality a bit, I didn't notice it at the time but I became very shy.
Now I have complex partial seizures, I just kind of blink uncontrolably for a few seconds. But before I started taking the meds I'm on now I sometimes had these terrible ones in the middle of the night. I seriously thought I was going to die. I was hyperventalating and moving uncontrolably and... yeah, it reeaaally sucked. But those are gone now. Thank God. Still can't drive, though
Even though they can be scary as hell, I still joke about them. Maybe that's just me. I love this stamp

I don't understand how someone could be proud to have epilepsy. I mean I'm epileptic. It's a brain defect and it has all sorts of side effects which are just, simply and crudely put, shitty. I could never be proud of that...

I agree! I can`t be proud of such a thing that could happen at any given time to me, something that could kill me, the thing that has eaten away at my brain for the past year, the reason I can`t be truly happy... How Could I ever be proud of such a curse?

Yo, cheers for the stamp - good call.
Epilepsy since i was 5, and frankly in my life i've done more than a lot of people at my Uni. Ive lead a Presidency, Vice Presidency, been a treasurer run 30 Rock/Metal clubnights and im now a Campaign officer for a disability organisation.
---
I am proud to get through my 10 seizures a day, and still be able to look people square in the eye. So, your stamp suits me.

It's nice you made this for your friends.
But on a personal note, I am epileptic and I would never, ever say I'm a proud epileptic. To show pride, according to the dictionary, is to "have delight or elation arising from some act, possession, or relationship."
I am not ashamed. But I'm certainly not delighted or elated!
