Kion and Baliyo’s proposal was kind of a half-joking/half-blurted-out question by Kion one night that turned into a serious proposal the next day when he presented Baliyo with some Cape Forget-Me-Nots.
Not only were the flowers blue, like Baliyo's eyes, but Forget-Me-Nots also symbolize a connection that endures all challenges and measures of time. They can be used to represent the growing affection between two people. That could be a friendship or any other kind of loyalty. In this case, it was the romantic connection between Kion & Baliyo.
