This is absolutely beautiful! I love your comment, too. ^-^ I sat down and just looked at this picture for about five minutes, and I had so many memories of real walks outdoors and imaginative ones go through my mind.

Thank you for enjoying Weekends, the painting is a moment I spent with my husband and dog portrayed in the picture one summer day when we were able to go to a near by lake. It was the best and you're right about German Sheperds, he is the best. Your appreciation for the painting deepens my appreciation for the lovers of arts.

The painting is done in oils, it was inspired by a visit to the water with my husband and dog.
