My take on the TMNT character Piebald.

Piebald is a recently created mutant from Rise of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Originally a regular goldfish that belonged to Splinter and the turtles. The turtles accidently broke her bowl and flush her down the toilet. She would eventually be mutated by an Ooozesquito and return to the lair. Teaming up with Splinter to scare the turtles, especially Leo, into being honest about making mistakes. After which, Piebald pretty much became another friendly mutant. Having the ability to camouflage and create bubbles.

For my take, Piebald follows her origins very similarly. Starting out as a pet goldfish of Master Splinter. Piebald would be one of the many parts of his serenity garden. When ooze mutagen became scattered around New York however, one such canister managed to find its way into the sewer lair's pool that Piebald was swimming in. Breaking open and transforming her into what she is today. She would spend most of her time in the sewers guiding new mutants to an unground city as a safe haven.
