Description This is a small lochan near Loch Slapin on the Elgol Road on the Isle Of Skye. Winter is arriving here and the ice on the lochan makes some beguiling patterns. The snow topped Red Cuillins always look good with the sun on them.Β

This is making me cold.Β  I like how the stones in the foreground are repeated by the mountains, while the swirls in the ice are endlessly interesting.Β  And the light on the snow brightens it up.Β  Also, thanks for the birthday wishes, had a rare sunny/warm day out and about!
