Well have a look then! they all started out as the white ones, and it was an art project in Zurich where they asked a different artist to paint one cow in the style of their choice. It has become quite big now as all the airports sell small versions of these painted cows as souvenirs.Β www.google.ch/search?q=Swiss+pβ¦
Actually I think the flower-bedecked cows for the Alpine ascent and decent to the summer pastures is more impressive. www.la-gruyere.ch/en/desalpe-c⦠try wearing that on your head while slinging that huge bell down the mountain path the entire day. And those cows are actually proud of it all, you can tell. the bigger the bell, the more important the cow and they know it!

Absolutely!! But believe me, the Swiss definitely have a thing for their cows. We live in a village that has a dairy farmer who is also a vintner, grows commercial crops and is also our mayor. We live in a very small village . . .

They are all Shaun the Sheep at the moment. They did a thing like this a couple of years ago and they were all Grommits.Β

Have you seen any of the animations called Wallace and Grommit?
There are many of these statues in London and they have all been painted in different ways
They won't be here for long before they get sold and the money goes to a children's charity

They are raising money for charity. The Wallace and Grommit children's charity. There is an app where you can collect them and pay a small sum to the charity. At the end of it they are going to auction all the statues to raise even more money. They are all decorated by artists some of whom are quite famous.Β
They really are a lot of fun in London and there is a huge amount of interest in them. You can get a map of the sheep trail so you can find them all.Β
I love stuff like this and I'm happy that London lets things like this happenΒ
