Hi everyone. I've been away for a few days but I've just got home. Here is a picture of Gufufoss which is a waterfall in the east of Iceland in the mountains above Seydisfjordur. How wonderful it was to have this place to myself.ΒRelated content

So normally you would set your shutter for long exposure to blur the stream of water, This is refreshing to see the opposite, you got just enough motion blur in the waterfall and the stream is really crisp and edgy which is awesome that it works so well

My favourite shutter speed for a waterfall is around 1/25 or 1/15 which gives this kind of effect.Β
I will do a long exposure if I feel it works better but this is my preferred option usually.

I haven't been there in a bit. It's right on the border of Canada and the USA. Maybe I'll visit it again, soon, as I make my "Brexit" to Canada.
