Description The iconic Buachaille Etive Mor at the head of Glen Etive in the Scottish Highlands. This is the mountain that, for me, signals I have arrived in the highlands. From this point on I am in heaven. In this area you have Rannoch Moor, Glen Etive and Glen Coe. Happy days.

I took this in Nov 2016. It seems my title is misleading. I only meant that when ever I get to this mountain it means the adventure has begun. 
I think they actually have a lot of snow there at the moment as there was an avalanche in Glen Coe. 
This area is often busy but it's not as bad as Skye. If you go out of holiday times it's ok. I'll let you know as I'm going there in May.

Yeah! It makes me think of Erebor (The Lonely Mountain) and even the White Mountains on the south border of Rohan and north border of Gondor
