Description Hadrian's Wall near Housesteads Roman Fort in Northumberland, North East England. Hadrian's Wall was built by the Romans to mark a dividing line between their land and the land of the Picts. In today's parlance we would think of it as England and Scotland.Β

Love this shot. When I drove along Hadrian's Wall in winter it was foggy and snowy. I love the way the wall undulates with the landscape.Β

Vindolanda is incredible
I've never really got a good picture there but it's more about being there in all that history
Life isn't all about photography after all (can't believe I said that )
