Oh my gosh, so flexible. I'd die if I was able to do that. The guy must be strong to be able to hold her like that and stay still.

Oh, all my most spectacular lifts have either been invented spontaneously, or blatantly ripped off. This would be a fantastic one to rip, as long as the female dancer is fearless.

That is definately something that appears to be different pose wise.

...you should have seen her turn from that position into the splits and then straight up into an arabesque.. wonderfully fluid movement.

Pity you can't capture that aspect of movement with a still image camera.

woah...legs arent meant to bend that way are they? i also like the way its kind of distant, im not entirely sure why, but the effect of it is interesting.

I liked the spots as part of the comp.. and yes, a body can do this when well trained.. she turned over toward the audience into the splits after being lowered by her partner.. a Tango..

I had to look at this one real hard because I couldn't believe my eyes. Amazing! I am sure that this just shows the quality of the dancers, as they were in motion, but look as though still. Jaw dropping honestly.
