your turtle looks so cool! and the water so clean!!!!! it's really annoying having to clean mine out every 2 weeks, i'm sure mine gets much dirtier because they have gravel.. and there's 3 of them

oh my, i feed mine maybe once every 3 days xD i do feel kinda bad about it sometimes, but they can actually live without food for a couple of months! (not that i've tried)
2 or 3 days is recommended, food is a bit expensive and if i fed them once a day the aquarium gets dirty really fast..

I only feed him a little bit every day though >_< And maybe a few treats in between and then take him out of the tank for awhile and let him run around outside. But I really only have to clean my tank about once every three weeks.

i remember when i had just one turtle (the smallest), he was really little at the time and could only eat one food pellet at a time, a small pot of food would last a month xD
..then i bought the two bigger ones and they're all grown up now and gobble all the food.. don't think they even savor the taste but i know the little one loooooves shrimp :]
don't think mine would like being outside.. they don't like being touched xD lucky that you can take yours out though, would make for some awesome photography! ;D

Yeah I take him out and he runs all over my belly and stuff. He likes to run around the house and then in the summertime i get one of those blowup pools and put it in the backyard and make a bridge so he can climb out of it and run around outside. he's a little... fast one.lol.

yeah, turtles are actually quite fast at running, unlike tortoises, i really wish i had gotten a tortoise instead; so much easier to keep X_X

I wish I had gotten a tortoise too but they're so expensive!! And they get realllllllllllly big. but I love my little turtle so so so much! ^-^

duuude, turtles get really big too if you feed them enough! and they grow fast, think by about age 20 they get to full size which is about 20 inches (i think)
i once saw a vid on youtube with a pond of red ear sliders, HUUUUUUUUGE ones, and one eats a fish! i'll try lookin' for it!
..can't find it sadly, but i'd guess they were something like 20 inches from what i remember
