Basic wind 1/8Enhanced Hearing 1/2
idk why but I really like to experiment with painting techniques for independent magic xDD
Anyways Sam decided to finally do something with his life start learning some magic! Mainly because he noticed the increasing amount of magic classes recently and thought it'd be fun to try it too. He got himself a good beginner's guide on magic to gain some theoretical knowledge before jumping into practice. And because he heard that enhanced hearing is the easiest way to start that's exactly what he is doing.
I tried to make this look sort of sketchy, while still having look finished?? It's also the first time I inked after colouring and shading.
The poster had a really nice water texture but somehow it's barely visible now :C also hushsh I know there are no movies in the Wyngro universe I just feel like Sam's the kind of person that has his walls plastered with movie posters
Actualy I really, really wanted to get Sam into wind class, but I need my voucher for Lyn to get her those feathers (and to force her to socialise)...

gosh, this is stunning! (i'm about to write a lot sorry)
there are just so many fine details that give this piece a nice touch! first there's the rough pencil lines, that creates the atmosphere that you were aiming for - sketchy but finished! there's so many tiny visual things like the plant above his head and the beautiful drawing on the wall B) plus the way the blanket droops down the side a little <3
the shading is also!! so good!!! shading cloth is really difficult, but you've done an amazing job at doing it, as well as those creases in the pillow uvu the shading and lighting of the wood is also wonderful, and overall this piece looks incredibly realistic while still maintaining a cartoony feel <33
