Description "She's gotta know kid..."

The absolutely worst idea, or at least the dirty blonde felt, was taking the Freeshooters advice and telling the ninja girl. He didn't even just tell her 'Oh I'm not really Myde, my name's Demyx and I control water!' no... By everything... He told her everything.

Demyx stood there, looking at the exact spot Yuffie had been standing. She had walked away minutes ago. Teal eyes eventually looked down to the ground.

"I... I don't understand..." Her voice had been barely a whisper, not wanting to believe what she was hearing. It was impossible... He was still Myde... The same bubbly happy Myde she had known and loved... It had to have been...

"I... I don't know how to really explain it..." The words caught in his throat. He knew exactly how to explain it, but he didn't want to do the blunt 'You heard me. I'm the empty shell of Myde. No heart, no emotions, and I'm with this group called Organization XIII. They figure the best way to get our hearts back is turn a whooooooooole lotta people into heartless and Nobodies so their hearts can be collected by the keyblade master and go to Kingdom Hearts!'

Something told him saying that would not be the best of things to do...

"Yuffie... I--" He started before the girl shook her head back and forth slowly.

"I... I don't understand this at all... And..." She started, not wanting to finish. Demyx knew what was to be said though.

She didn't want to understand...

"Yuffie... I... I'll find some way to contact you..." He smiled fleetingly as he spoke, attempting to get the sixteen year old to look back with the same smile he... That Myde... had grown to love and adore.

It never showed up...

She just turned and walked away...

He'd kept up contact, even through a few times Yuffie had said it was best not to contact her. Every time with an apology. Wanting to hear her say everything was alright. Even if she didn't mean it. Every time he'd gone and said it though, she'd just turn and go to find Squall or someone else...

He'd finally given up, not realizing that Yuffie didn't truly want him to stop and waited for him to show up every day.

It may not have been the same Myde she remembered, but she had hoped there was enough... Enough to never give up no matter what...

One thing she knew had stayed was the whole honesty factor. It was why he'd never said those three words she wanted so desperately to hear. He had no heart he couldn't love.

How did this happen? Why did this happen? Neither of them felt it fair. Saw it as just for any reason. Sure, Myde had made a few stupid moves in his past, but he was always someone who spilled about it seconds after to whoever was involved in what he had done...
--
Demyx, now sitting on his bed, knees pulled to his chest and face buried in his knees felt he was so close to tears. He knew they wouldn't come, but it was true. He didn't like this feeling.

Suddenly, realization dawned on him. Sure they couldn't truly feel, sure they didn't have hearts... But... They had the memories of what it was like! A smile crossed the dirty blonde's face as he rather liked this realization before he shot to a standing position, stumbling just slightly and narrowly avoiding his face meeting the wall.

He looked down at his outfit. The same Organization uniform as always, black coat, black pants, and black boots. He pouted a little. Where he was going he wanted to wear something a little less... Dark.

He sighed before creating a portal to leave, stepping through and going to Traverse Town for now. Radiant Gardens may have been back to running order... Well as much as running order as it could be, but he'd rather not be in the same place as the committee. He'd have problems with them later for probably the course of two minutes...

Getting to the shops in Traverse Town, Demyx looked around at the clothing, biting his lower lip before deciding on a basic blue t-shirt and a pair of faded blue jeans. Those would be good, right?

After quickly trying them on he sighed in relief before buying them, leaving the store, as well as the world, and changing before heading off to the once radiant Radiant Gardens.

Once he got onto the world he knew he would likely have to summon his sitar, but mumbled under his breath, not wanting to. If he were to have to do that he'd definitely wind up annoyed... Or at least have the incredibly strong memory of annoyance...

Sure enough once he portalled in, conveniently in the same location as where Squall was, there was surprise, and slight preparation for a fight which caused the sitarist to raise his hands "Whoa whoa! Not here for a fight!"

Teal eyes were wide as he said this, surprise, oddly not entirely feigned. Though, at the brunettes next words his stomach churned and he winced. "Haven't you done enough damage already...?" Stormy blue eyes were set on the dirty blonde who looked to the ground. He would have said more, but they were interupted.

Dark eyes were wide with surprise as she looked to Demyx, Yuffie being utterly surprised he was even there. This had to be a dream, right? There was no way he was actually here after... Oh how long of staying out of contact? Long enough for the Hollow Bastion Restoration Committee to begin, that was for sure.

"M... Myde...?" She gasped in surprise as she took careful steps into the Bailey, to get closer to him. Her eyes narrowed, lips forming a thin line. If Demyx weren't so far on the 'Do not want' end of the pointy gunblade he would have smiled or made the ever so slight correction that it was no longer Myde, but Demyx.

That, however, was not the case, and he was at risk of being hurt if things went not how he wanted "Hey, Yuffie" He smiled shyly "Sorry about the wait..." He laughed nervously.

"... What're you doing here?" The girl stood up, looking into teal eyes which held a familiar, incredibly small, but familiar, spark in them.

"Well I was kinda hoping to talk to you without being at risk for being stabbed for making a wrong move which at this moment oddly feels incredibly possible with Squall standing right over there, so do you think we could talk somewhere else without sharp pointy things?" Of course he knew that was impossible.

What was a ninja without her throwing stars?!

So, a quick fixing of that "Well no sharp pointy things with brunette men who have tempers" He laughed nervously as he spoke this time.

Squall narrowed his eyes on the dirty blonde, frowning before looking to Yuffie. This was her call, after all...

Yuffie thought for a minute before nodding "... Alright." She said quietly to Demyx. She began walking past, as to lead the Nobody to where they could talk.

When they got to the spot, Demyx took a deep breath, hardly even waiting for Yuffie to finish asking what it was he wanted to talk about.

"I know it's not really entirely real and stuff but I do remember what it was like before I lost my heart and stuff, Yuffie, I remembered what it was like to be with you, how happy Myde was - how I was, and I want to be able to feel, I really do, in fact, I know this may seem a bit weird, but I think Nobody's do have hearts!

"Like we think we don't, but it's just the fact some of us are in denial of it or something, but I think we do, I really really do. I've been thinking of ways that it's possible and it's just so hard because it makes me head hurt whenever I think about it, but sometimes it's best to just believe in something sometimes and hope it's right, right?"

Teal eyes were set on the black haired girl now, attempting to figure out what she got out of that. After a few moments of silence, he winced just a bit "Sorry... Guess I rambled on a--"

He was cut off by the ninja beginning to laugh, not just a little bit of laughter, though, full blown laughter. It was hilarious to hear this said, but at the same time, she was so happy!

Demyx blinked, head tilting to the side. "... I'm confused..."

Yuffie had moved her hands to cover her stomach, wrapped around to hold on to the sides and she took a deep breath before looking to the boy "I'm happy, silly~" She said, stifling another small giggle, sticking her tongue out. It made Demyx smile, but she continued speaking "You're a real dork sometimes, you know that?"

Her hands moved to her hips, smiling to Demyx still. He stuck his tongue out right back to the girl "Well so glad I could entert-- GAH!" He was caught off guard as he stumbled backward, the smaller girl holding him close to her.

"You're not the same... But at the same time you are~" She looked up to Demyx, not wanting to put her head to his chest. She knew what she would hear... Or... Well wouldn't.

He understood that, perfectly, though. "I never want to be apart from you again..." He whispered.
