I dig the idea ! I think you did the ball-jointed fingers very well. And I love the eyeballs in the small box, it's a nice touch !

Thanks, I referenced my own wood model hands to do them. 
The eyes were because when I get headaches it makes me wish I could take out my eyes for a bit and put them back in when they hurt less

they can be hard to use because they don't have much flexibility
