It is almost the same as my latest drawing about Spidey just without the Christmas stuff. I thought this could be a stand alone picture.

2012 is a special year for comic book fans. 50 years ago Stan Lee created something that was unique back then, the ordinary superheroes. These characters often have the same problems as everybody cold have (school, work, payment, etc.). It is easy to identify with them.

Peter Parker was one of these characters. No matter that Joe Quesada screwed up the Spider-Man so bad with the Brand New Day story by basically degenerating him back to the 70s and throwing out at least 4 decades of character development out the window.

For me Spider-Man is what he was at the top, awesome because of his virtues. HAPPY 50th ANNIVERSARY!
