When he was small, on one cold night, he can't sleep so he got up and went to the kitchen to drink. He then heard a soft voice from outside, whispering something. He went out to the backyard, and opened the storage room behind the house where the voices seemed to be from. Inside the dark room, he met an ayakashi, a black winged creature who then asked him if he wanted to shares his vision.

Being a kid as he was, he didn't understand what the creature meant, so he agreed. The ayakashi then took the boy's right eye, replaced with his own. The eye gave him the ability to see the spiritual world clearer, but the flaw was that he's blind when the sun rises.

His family at first made a ruckus about the sudden change of his eye color, moreover blind at day time. They tried to hide him from society and end up locked him up in his room. This last until he was a teenager, they gave him an eyepatch to cover up the abnormality.

He takes over his family's business when he was 17, since his older brothers refused to take the burden, and just fooling around. He worked hard to keep the business from falling apart, but thanks to some good seniors workers, they taught him many things about the business.

On one business trip, he met Nang abandoned under a big old tree, and was covered by bruises and blood. He then took Nang home, and started taking care of the ayakashi since then. He managed to control the vision of the right eye now, and he can see a little bit during day time.

Most of the management of the business, he took care of it alone, which always end up stressing him out. Seeing Anjana stressed out frequently has made nang worried about his health, so he seek Nson Gu, an ayakashi who feeds on human's depressions and negative feelings to help Anjana.
