Description Kudos and thanks to ChaosEmperor971 for allowing me to use the pics.

Going at full sprint with Aikihara close behind her and the sun setting, Amanda made it to Abel's school just in time for him and the rest of his class to be dismissed. Hanging near the right side of the gate, leaning on the brick wall, she scanned the crowd, and saw her pride and joy exiting the double doors accompanied by his group of friends, when he saw her, he swiftly hugged them all goodbye before making his way to her as fast as he could. When he got to her, he hugged her immediately, with Amanda smiling as she returned the hug and kissed him on the forehead. While Aikihara stood off to the side just looking around,

"How was school?" Amanda asked as she ruffled her son's hair
"It was fun! In science we got to learn about what magnets are" Abel replied with a smile
"Oooo, can you tell me then?"
"Uhhh....I forgot what my teacher said" Abel replied, a bit embarrassed
"Fufufu, It's fine. Just as long as you can answer it in class"
"Heheehheeh"
"C'mon, let's go get some dinner at that ramen place we love" Amanda added as she and Abel began walking away from school, with Aikihara joining them

"Hmm?"
{!}
When Abel turned his head to see who was walking next to his mother, his jaw dropped as he saw Aikihara, he began tugging on his mother's arm and when Amanda stopped and turned to him, she saw him staring at Aikihara, who was also looking down at Abel.

"Something Wrong Abel?" Amanda asked with a concerned look
"Mother....is that..." Abel stuttered as he shakily raised his hand, pointing at the woman next to his mother
"Oh, this is my friend -"
"Aikihara Matusme" Abel finished, causing both adults to be surprised by his knowledge of her name
"Do you know who I am?" Aikihara asked
"Mhmm, me and my friends watch your tournament matches....your so cool....we have a fan club about you..." Abel muttered loud enough for both of them to hear, his cheeks flushed pink
"Ooo, looks like someone has a fan club" Amanda mused as she looked at Aikihara who was surprised at the young child's words
"Since you are really strong, can you beat my mother?" Abel asked with stars in his eyes as he looked up at the former champion
"Uhhh, I don't think that's a question you should ask me" Aikihara replied
"Ohh? why not?" Abel asked, looking a bit confused,

But as Amanda was about to speak up, Aikihara stepped forward and knelt before the young boy, a smile on her lips.

"Because, I know for a fact I am not as strong as your mother"
"Huh? Why do you say that?"
"It's because she has something to fight for, and that's you" Aikihara added as she placed her pointer finger on his chest right above his heart
"Hmm?" Abel was confused by her words
"Unlike me, your mother has a reason to be strong, and that person is you. Never forget that"
"But what about you? Your so strong in the tournaments though" Abel added
"True, but that just means I am strong in one aspect, your mother is strong in more things than I could ever be"
"Ohhh"
"Do you understand?"
"I think...I think" Abel replied , scratching his head with a confused look
"Fufufu, you will understand when your older" Aikihara finished as she patted him on the head and stood back up
"Shall we get going then?" Amanda asked, with the two of them nodding.

A while later, the three of them ate at the ramen restaurant near Abel's school. With the three of them laughing as Abel talked about him and his mother to Aikihara who diligently listened with a smile, while Amanda was smiling from the sidelines, she had seen Abel happy before but this was different, was this how it was when you met your idol? She never knew since she had none except for her adoptive parents. And as the night wore on, Amanda was content with letting her son speak with Aikihara, seeing that her old rival didn't even mind letting him speak continuously, in fact she noticed she was very much intrigued by her son. She offered Aikihara to stay the night to which the latter agreed and as they got home, Abel ran upstairs and dressed in his own dōgi and black belt, asking Aikihara to sign it. She did, writing the phrase "To my #1 fan, Abel. Keep it up! - Aikihara (Titan of Myahara) and she even dressed in a spare dōgi and black belt of Amanda and posed for a picture that Amanda took and quickly framed, with Aikihara also signing it with the same message, a picture that Abel would keep at their bedside table for years and years to come.
