“It’s here,” was all that he said.
They blinked open their eyes and turned over, then gasped in pure amazement as they saw a brilliant deep streak of color in the night sky, it was so much more magnificent than they ever thought it would be.
They were stunned, finding it difficult to speak.
“It’s… it’s so beautiful…,” they finally whispered.
“I’ve seen it from the other side, it looks as beautiful from there too,” they heard Asriel say, his words just barely registering in their mind.
“Huh?”
“I’ve been out in space, I go rather frequently actually, NASA would lose their collective minds if they knew about all the things I’ve seen,” he bragged.
At this news, Frisk’s eyes practically sparkled as they imagined it, the view of the Milky Way enhancing their imagination tenfold, were they still dreaming?
“Do… you like visiting the moon?” they asked softly.
“Mmhm, I go up there on my more darker days, it’s amazing to watch Earth from there, but sitting on one of Saturn’s rocks in its rings is where I get a lot of my better thinking done at,”
Frisk let out an impressed whistle, “…You’re so lucky…,”
At that, Asriel chuckled lowly.
“Maybe I could steal an astronaut suit for you, I could show all of space to you,” he offered quietly.
Frisk slowly grinned, completely charmed and in awe, after everything, they had no doubt he would do this for them.
“I would love every second of it Asriel… but…I’m afraid my brain would break down and explode,” they admitted honestly.
They could practically hear him smile in response, “perhaps, there’s only one way to find out, isn’t there?”
“Yeah… but I think I’ll stay on Earth for now… I think it’s going to take me awhile to process this trip,”
“Whatever you want Frisk, it’s all yours,”
