Description

The unique longsword wielded by the Knight of Brambles. The sword sheers through flesh and armor like it was paper. When it is drawn from it's sheath the thorns extend. When the thorns pierce the opponent, they lodge in the flesh, catching, and holding until released by the wielder.

The origins of the blade are unknown, but the mysterious Knight of Brambles is the only one to have ever been seen to wield it, further adding to the mystery of the blade's origin.

(I based it on the once seen and quickly forgotten "Guilty Thorn" spear? from SAO. I don't know why they always called it a spear. Anyway, I really liked the design, and it's perfect for the Knight of Brambles.)
