Well, "Cool World" seemed more like a film aimed for adults and had a lukewarm reception, while "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" was somewhat more enjoyable for many ages as the film included Disney and Warner Bros cartoon characters.

Honestly, South has its moments of hilarity, but Its gone on way too long and the creators mind-numbingly stupid enough to continue a satirical show like that on when it has even less morals than many other shows. A guess could be due to it running on Comedy Central, a network allows almost anything so long as its funny.

The creators are pretty gutsy in using materials that most shows are hesitant to do, though they still tend to cross the line through the voice of their main characters especially the most evil of animated kid characters Cartman.
