Yes, there are different species of pygmy seahorses. This one is the 'biggest', with an average size, including the tail, of 2.5 cm (1")!

Scuba diving. In few occasions I was without tank, like with the dolphins, or with the mantas: I didn't want to disturb or scare them.

But scuba diving is much better if you have to go deep or spend a lot of time looking for small critters.
Much more relaxing...

I've only ever gone snorkling. Never seen half of what you've seen. I would like to go back. I don't know what kind of fish we have in my area. I went snorkling when I lived in Florida. I just posted a news article last night about some sea turtles. [link] I was so happy to read that good news.
