I dunno, it kind of seems to me that it shows that maybe there is an attraction between male friends, regardless of their orientation.

Well, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, isn't it?
I can freely say this is quite a romantic, intriguing photo of two men, and I can almost hear the first one whispering to the other: "Be gay..."
I can't say for sure, but I think of these two men as an example of society - while one can be what he wants to be, people around him often make him change his intentions, goals - sometimes even himself. We're influenced by other people's thoughts, even though we're privileged to have our own.
As a conclusion, I find this photo an irony of life - we are what we think we are.

Gay or not - really great composition and astute use of desaturation...
Interesting use of the black borders - it's a useful trick to give a photograph a filmic quality, but in this sense it genuinely works.

LOL - I like photoshop, yes, but I am also an artist and photographer who likes to use traditional methods of printing photographs. I think photoshop is a wonderful programme that can enhance images in some wonderful ways - I have also seen the use of photoshop ruin perfectly good photos - it's all in the hands of the practitioner I guess and how astute they are.
In this case you used it well.
