Thought I would draw the Mane 6 as they will appear in my Next Gen. I drew Twilight first, seen as she's kinda the "leader" of the group. I might draw the other five another time.

Headcanon: There are two known types of alicorns. God/Goddess like alicorns and as I like to call them, apprentice alicorns. Both alicorns have wavy manes but God/Goddess alicorns manes flow and are longer. Celestia and Luna are Goddess alicorns which means they're immortal and their job is to find apprentice alicorns over the course of their lives. These apprentice alicorns are only made ("ascended") every couple hundred years. These apprentice alicorns will gain a long, wavy like main like God/Goddess alicorns, but its not as prominent. Apprentice alicorns lifespans are extended about 50 years but they are not immortal. Twilight and Cadence are examples of apprentice alicorns. They were ascended into alicornhood and have a less prominent wavy and long mane. Twilight and Cadence will age but it will be slowed down due to them being turned into an alicorn. Both Alicorns have individual traits each from Earth Ponies, Pegasi, and Unicorns. They usually have a taller earth pony build, a fluffly chest and hooves from pegasi, and a unicorn tail and cleft hooves from a unicorn.

My Next Gen universe takes place about 25 years after the current season (Season 8), this means Twilight would have aged but not as much as her friends would have. Twilight would have also gained a wavy, long mane, but it is less prominent. than the royal sisters. During those 25 years Twilight has also started wearing glasses.
