I always picture McGonagall younger than most people. Not young by any means, but like maybe in her forties.
However, the expression you have on her here is dead on McGonagall. It just screams out her whole 'don't fuck with me, I'll mess you up' attitude.

Your McGonagal is great, but I've been trying forever to draw a Hogwarts age McG, and have been rather unsuccessful, I finally think I got it, but I was wondering what she would look like if you made her. It's just a suggestion.

You're right, Maggie Smith is a perfect McGonagall! When I read the books, she's one of the characters that is cemented in my mind as looking exactly like their movie counterpart.
