In the context of the show, it stands for Combined KO. I The name was not directly stated in the show or in the credits, however, some fans choose to call him CKO because of what I recall was an official model sheet where his name was written as "KO [combined]" or something to that affect. He is also referred to as Combined KO in the OK KO Wiki.
In my AU, however, I'm not sure it has any connection to the original meaning of the name.
