Description
Following the success of Rocket and Bo, I decided to make something else. For a moment, I toyed with the idea of doing a monster or character from Final Fantasy XII, but then I regained my sanity and thought about focusing on something a bit more simple (this *is* Play-doh we're talking about here, the artistic equivalent of crayons in the art world).I decided a PokΓ©mon would fit the bill, and settled on Skitty. Oh, Skitty. This multicolored monstrosity proved to be quite a complex project. I think I ended up spending a couple hours on him, attaching ears and feet and fiddling with the tail. >_< Eventually I settled for wire to hold up the tail, but it ended up sinking right through the Play-Doh like butter. I managed to get it to stand up for 30 seconds the purpose of the photo though. :3
Measures about 1" tall.

That's actually kinda true. Crayons can actually be a really good art material. They look best on tracing paper. I've actually used crayons in my work before.

Concrete can also make a good sculpting material if it's mixed thick enough as to be moldable.

Good news about Skitty's tail. Once he dried a little bit more, I was able to stick his tail on his body permanently. ^_^
*laughs* Sorry, crayons, I apologize. It's true, I spent many years of my life using crayons as my coloring tool of choice. :3

I went to this one restaurant (don't remember the name though). On each table, on top of the table cloth, there were really big sheets of paper. And they gave you crayons! It was awesome! I had a field day coloring the entire table!
I kinda wish I could've kept it.
