The rider isn't mine i copied it from a book, the original is from Ivan Bilibine. (i can't draw humans!! and the scanner screwed the color of his face
) but the horse is mine

I know well this artist because it is an illustrator of tales essentially and because my parent's possess books illustrated by him.
But he also has make stage sets and watercolors of landscape Mediterranean which are absolutely magnificent!
For the watercolor yes one needs that thick papers who absorbs well the water. Certain painters wet him before painting.
