Description
This is Hades dressing up as Santa to deliver trashy presents to all the stinking kids of the world. Hopefully you won't get a 'present' from his garbage bags.This is my entry for 's Christmas contest. The object was to draw one of his characters, preferably in a holiday relation.
The basic idea is that with the apocalypse going on Santa can't make his rounds and so Hades stitches himself a Santa suit to deliver presents to the children. His idea of presents, garbage, would make the kids wish for Krampus to come take them away.

And it's fanart for a contest so it's not my character, just my story for why he's dressed that way.
But if you read the comic he's from it makes sense.

I think it'd be more like Jack Skellington where he wants to do a good job but isn't able to so he's using what he has available. At least that's how I envision the reason behind it. Also Hades, in mythology, punishes the wicked and rewards the good so in a way it's also connecting with the roots of Hades so there is a vague connection with Santa there.

By discipline you mean reaping their souls, then yes. To sign up leave the reaper office, turn left at the Elysium Fields, hang a right by the Pits of Tartarus, sneak past Cerberus, tiptoe through Persephone's garden and enter the palace of Hades.

Depends on ones definition of better since some would have it be a fate worse than death while others would say it leaves you without morals. Either way if they are being brats they don't have much moral to begin with.

Age is not an issue for me. I'll always look and act like I'm 17.

I act younger myself. I may be 25 now but I act closer to 18-20. Some people think I look like a teen though.

(I actually am 17, it's just I decide that my persona will always be 17, him being immortal and all.)

(I tend to make my characters around the same age, physically if they are immortal/long lived)

Thanks. Figured since I wouldn't have time with being out of town for practically the whole month might as well get this guy done.
I figured it was easy to choose who to do since Hades had a great design and the thought of putting him in a Santa suit was to good to pass up.
If I had the time to color this I would've shown how much the suit was scrapped together since it wouldn't be one uniform color.

Well Christmas is a two or three week break and then I have one week of vacation left to use. Going to go see Pennsylvania, Niagara Falls, NYC, my moms family living in New Jersey, DC and whatever else that is along the way.
Well I tend not to color since it always looks weird to me, though I do imagine the colors in my head so I can have that as info.

Thanks. I really like the way Jet designed Hades and wanted to do some fanart of him and then this contest showed up. Gave me a good excuse to draw the lord of flies and get him festive.Β Β
