Literal Writer's Block, Sherlock BBC Edition.

I first came up with this idea for the 2009 Sherlock Holmes film (not yet x-posted to dA), and decided to do the same for the Sherlock BBC series, although this uses a different technique.

It's pretty much what it says on the tin.

The little icons were based on clip art from public domain sources, then modified. Except the last one, which is mine.

Done on a 1" solid wood block, then sanded by hand to a very smooth matte finish (2000 grit). The images will not rub off (in fact you'd have to sand them to remove them).
