There was one of these in a store down in Myrtle Beach. I took some photos to maybe do some vector art. Cool tractor.

Have you ever seen any tractors painted black? When I was a kid, my dad had a tree business, I used to help him after school. We did a lot of work for a doctor over in Fox Chapel who had a black tractor in his barn. I always wondered what make it was.

The only one I can think of off hand right was a set of Case Agri King tractors know as the Black Kinghts [link]

This tractor was old, I remember it having some white trim, it was a classic old school farm tractor. He had a gang mower and a plow for it.

Oh yes, and the nose was rounded instead of square like this one.

Sounds like it might have been an older one.

It's a distinct possibility.

Aaah, a 770. That I drove predominately at the tender age of 8. Though I believe the paint job was different on ours in terms of the number style and striping. Either way...it was a good little tractor. Was just like this one too with the narrow front steering. Very forgiving tractor.

I think Oliver was coming into their own with the "Three Number" series tractors, 550, 660, 770, 880, and the 990. They had to be some of the best tractors ever made.
