Description Here is Mahoning Valley Railroad Heritage Association's Davenport switcher. This baby is gas powered and mechanical drive (note the chain hanging down between the wheels). It's almost hard to believe this little engine that looks like it just came out of a Lionel trainset has the muscle to shove rail cars around a mill.

Those big EMD's and GE's may get all the glory of hauling those mile long trains coast to coast but it's little critters like this one that help keep the plants going after the big guys have dropped their cars off.

We have something similar at our museum here. 1941 Plymouth 30T with a LeRoi V8........I have videos of it running. Similar design actually, 2 axle, chain drive. Does this one have the same air-clutch & 4 speed gearbox?

I think it's only slightly longer then one six axle truck.
