I know this is Biblical, but these could be your Water and Air Colossus. Just a thought ; )

P.S. I thought I made this comment yesterday on the Leviathan piece, but it wasn't listed anywhere, so I apologize if I said this already.

no worries man.

actually i might have except that i have to create em from scratch. i only decided to join the contest 3 days before deadline and i thought a Death colossus was easier to design.

i proabbaly wont use an angelic for air, i wouldve used it for 'Life' colossus design.

Thanks : )

Oh, yeah. I knew you had to create them from scratch. I was just saying that instead of worrying about designing a colossus for those two elements, you could use the Leviathan and Angel of Judgement (not for the contest, just in general) for your "Colossus Universe".

I thought the Angel would be good for "Air" for obvious reasons, but it does seem unimaginative now that I think about it. "Life" would be a good angle ; )

P.S. I have a question. I recently took your advice about choosing favorites here on deviantart (I might do a journal too) and I noticed the create a new collection option. Does this simply make a new folder for you to put pieces in?

Yes, it creates a folder that you can label and drop and drag stuff in it, to manage your collection. you may choose to move images there or copy.

I like your gallery alot. I may not agree 100% with your beliefs (IE Genesis etc). But you are, simply, a really good artist, and that garners my respect.

I also like that you're not arrogant about your beliefs. My gripe with alot of Creation/Genesis people is that they're out there producing art that is simply saying that what I believe is wrong, being arrogant about it, and offending me.

They have no respect for my belief, so when I talk to them, I tend to act as if I dont respect theirs, simply because they insult me. I mean, the bible says to treat others as you want to be treated, and it's plain to see that Creationists sometimes dont apply this rule to Atheists or "Evolutionists" at all.

So, like I said, you seem to be adhering to your beliefs, as opposed to the whole "my side is right, your side is wrong" sociopathy that is so common.

thanks. there are Christians who act very 'un-Christian' sometimes. to be arrogant is said to be demonic. sometimes i tend to be also, but no one is perfect.
but the bible is not a science text book. it is for the good and welfare of human beings. logic and belief clashes a lot of times.

i really do not know how 'exactly' God created the world. No one on earth knows.

there are some points and ways of thinking regarding the genesis creation 'oem'. some christians really believe that God created the world in 6 days. Some christians take this poem as figurative. some christians beleive that the earth is older than 10,000 years. and many more....

but i do not think its a sin to discover and try to know the real answers (if one can), science is not totally rebuked by Christianity, as there are lots of scientists that are Christians too.

but if you analyze the creation poem, there is a progress, that in the first few days, the condition of earth is 'uninhabitable' until it becomes scientifically ok for human life.

but one thing that christians or non-christians agree that Humanity is very young.

Indeed, humanity is young.

I am a Catholic, so I tend to believe on the side of science, for explaining alot of things. But also I acknowledge that mankind may have been endowed with a soul or spirit by a higher power at some point in recent history (Perhaps around the time of the Sumerians). To put it simply, I believe in God, and also in science, as much as my Religion seems to approve of this.
