This shots seems more deep than the blue one. It's a matter of palettes, and I believe this one looks like a stormy day, upon the savanna. I really like it and prefer this one

Wow, the monotone/grey sky really brings out the colors of the land--much more striking impression than with the blue sky.
Now, if only there was some way to remove the oxygen from our atmosphere...

I wouldn't have guessed this was taken with a 10mm lens. It just doesn't look wide and there's no distortion at all. Wonderful job with that
The sky really does set the mood and theres a wonderful aray of colors and tones.
